Peterson to support Shell operations in Trindad & Tobago
Shell Trinidad and Tobago Limited has awarded Peterson a contract for the provision of supply base and pipeyard services in support of their drilling activities in the region.
Initially servicing one rig from January 2018, with a second rig due to come online later in 2018; this contract represents another positive step forward for our company in Trinidad, in partnership with one of our most strategic global clients and demonstrates the confidence Shell places in our service, processes and safety record.
Operations will be led by Robert Maclean and Sharath Kallepu supported by our existing team in Trinidad. Training and building a talented, safe and capable national workforce continues to be our priority and we remain committed to collaborating with the La Brea community and citizens of T&T to build a sustainable future.
This contract builds on our existing, long term relationship with Shell. We currently provide supply base and logistics services for all Shell’s UKCS activity under two long term contracts serviced out of Aberdeen and Great Yarmouth and Shell is an original member of the SNS Pool in the Netherlands. 80:20 also provide procurement services for Shell in Canada and Norway.
We look forward to working together with Shell to deliver efficiencies through technology and collaboration whilst ensuring a continued focus on safe execution and delivery
